FOR OVER 30 YEARS
Established in 1986 after its founder Mr. Trevor Joseph resigned his senior managerial position with a large local conglomerate to pursue his dream of self employment. T&Z Marketing Limited started primarily as a wholesaler of plywood to the hardware industry.
In 1990 T&Z Marketing Limited expanded to Tampa, Florida, USA to offer the same service of supplying plywood to primarily the Florida area.
After eight years of operation, T&Z Marketing Limited’s supplier in Brazil experienced difficulties in maintaining competitiveness primarily because of currency changes between Brazil and the USA. The expansion to the USA became unprofitable and had to cease operations. This situation was a blessing in disguise as Mr. Joseph was now able to concentrate his energies on Trinidad & Tobago. In 1998, T&Z Marketing Limited changed its strategic direction and moved away from its reliance of wholesaling plywood, to expanding its product range to the home improvement market segment. Because of challenges in the wholesale market T&Z Marketing Limited, again made another strategic shift to the retail segment of the market in 2002.
Our Future
Today, T&Z Marketing Limited has an expanded its retail establishment of four retail stores strategically located throughout Trinidad. Having carefully chosen its suppliers, T&Z Marketing Limited, trading under T&Z Home Improvement Centre, is quite well known for its high quality and very competitively priced products.
With emphasis on excellent service, T&Z Marketing Limited offers qualified and experienced advice to its many customers on its wide variety of products. With over 80,000 sq ft of warehouse space and over sixty well trained employees, the Company offers contractors (both large and small) and home owners a wide range of products in the following product categories: Doors (Security & Interior, Melamine, Bi-Fold, Brazilian, Pine & HDF), Flooring Tiles (Porcelain, Ceramic, Vinyl Plank Flooring, Laminate Flooring), Sanitary Ware (Whirlpool Tubs, Vanities, Toilet Sets, Shower Enclosures, Faucets, Kitchen Sinks) Paints, Roofing, Ceiling Tiles, (and all other associated services for installation of these products), Door Locks and other miscellaneous items.
